The bookie’s team: Game Week 14 #FPL

Hi everyone, this is a weekly blog post where we document changes to our team based on bookie’s odds. Having done this last season we’d like to think we’ve learned from our mistakes and aim to finish higher than our top 7% finish. This is not a wildcard XI or a team of the best possible players, this is an actual team which we have had since GW1 and have made changes to throughout the season. With the introduction and warning away, no to introduce to you the bookie’s team for Game Week 14. This post will review our changes and reason as to why we brought them in.

Currently, we’re 314,250th in the world and aim to be in the top 1% by the end of the season. All with the help of the bookies. To view the team, click on the following link: OddsonFPLTeam

Last week we brought in Matt Doherty who underperformed for us getting only 1 points at home to Huddersfield, with Wolves conceding 2 goals despite being the weeks most likely clean sheet candidates. Given they have Cardiff this week, another clean sheet should be likely, but have Wolves’ wheels started to come off after an impressive start to the Premier League? This week is massive for Nuno’s men.

The expected points was 63.42 which you can see https://www.oddsonfpl.com/the-bookies-team-game-week-13-fpl/

Aside the one transfer which under performed, our big priced players Aguero, Hazard also failed to bring in the points. It could be argued that Merseyside saved us, with TAA, Keane, Salah and Richarlison bringing in 41 of our 52 points. Surprisingly, in spite of the under performance we once again got a green arrow, surprising considering the team scored 11.42 points under the expected points.

This week we once again have a host of players to choose from, with a lot of good fixtures to boot, with 3 of the 4 highest expected points players being in our XI in Salah, Hazard and Aguero. Hazard is our captain for the week with an expected point tally of 7.05. Here is hoping for another green arrow once again. You may be asking, what transfers have we made? None. With a decent squad and a decent fixtures it might be worth banking a transfer for next week, given there will likely be rotation with the short break between the fixtures.

This week our expected points is 59.91

(3.4 + 5.18 + 4.63 + 3.77 + 4.77 + 14.1 + 3.75 + 6.55 + 3.59 + 6.35 + 3.82)
