The bookie’s team: Game Week 11 #FPL

Hi everyone, this is a weekly blog post where we document changes to our team based on bookie’s odds. Having done this last season we’d like to think we’ve learned from our mistakes and aim to finish higher than our top 7% finish. This is not a wildcard XI or a team of the best possible players, this is an actual team which we have had since GW1 and have made changes to throughout the season. With the introduction and warning away, now to introduce to you the bookie’s team for Game Week 11. This post will review our changes and reason as to why we brought them in.

Our point expectancy in game week 10 60.68 and it was easily beaten this week thanks to Captain Salah who pick up 50% of the expected points by himself. Unfortunately, Hazard didn’t feature so Costa subbed in with 2 points, our genius plan of bringing in Richarlison instead didn’t work out too well in the end.  It’s another unlucky week for us with Alexander-Arnold as he only picked up two points due to a lucky goal for Cardiff.

This week we’re faced with a number of bad fixtures, TAA has Arsenal, a game in which there is always goals, while Ings is away to Southampton. Jonny and Helder Costa face two tough fixtures and due to that, both were considered to be moved out of our side. Also, Newcastle are Newcastle. We considered going a little wild. Michael Keane is one of this week’s highest expected point scorers with a home fixture coming up against Brighton, he rotates well and has future home games against Cardiff and Newcastle. Jonny will be sold for him. Our punt this week was almost a West Ham academy graduate in Grady Diagana. He played 74 minutes last game week and played in the cup. With injuries to Yarmelenko, Noble, Wilshire, Lanzini and the lot, he should get a number of minutes. He is a massive punt, but something we feel is too much of a risk. We decided to keep Helder Costa for the time being and bank one of our two transfers.

With Sarri’s admission that Hazard is not fully fit, we choose to captain Aguero, and vice Hazard.

“Maybe he will not be ready to play 90 minutes because it was the first part of training for a few weeks. “

Here is this week’s Bookies team for Gameweek 11.

Only Keane in for Jonny. Hazard Captain, Aguero vice.

Unfortunately no image for this week due to being busy in work.
