Hi everyone, this is a weekly blog post where we document changes to our team based on bookie’s odds. We have been doing this since game week one and have shared with you our progress and regression thus far. This is not a wildcard XI, or a team of the best possible players, this is an actual team which we have had since GW1 and have made changes to throughout the season. Currently, we’re 530,688th in the world and aim to be top 1% by the end of the season with the help of the bookies. To view the team click the following link: OddsonFPLTeam

Last week was an absolute monster week. The expected points was 57.62 and we scored a HUGE 74 whilst the average was just 44. Our overall rank has increased to 223,956K with a total of 823 points. The main point of decision making this week has been whether to sell Dele Alli for Mohamed Salah. Logically, it makes sense. Salah is in the form of his life, has more than one point expected this week, Spurs have tougher fixtures and a bland game week in GW 21, and Alli has been in awful form. With all that being said, some news has come to the forefront courtesy of Lord Dinnery and Jack Sear, that the Egyptian trained by himself and seemingly had a back injury.
It looks like Mohamed Salah is training by himself. Was discussing something with Klopp and the medical staff and holding his back.

But further comments by Joel Rabinowitz stated that he was training with them again. Why does FPL do this to us? Never did I expect I had to spellcheck a Rabinowitz, but here I am.
Looks like he's training with them now. Seems fine.

With Liverpool’s fixture on Sunday, you would presume Salah would be fit, but you run the risk of him not playing due to the back injury. With Alli, you save a transfer but keep a player who is horrendously out of form. This is where Sadio Mane comes into play. The Senegalese attacker was rested last week and shone against Spartak midweek. Fully fit, no injury, 3rd highest ranked player. It screams safety. Going with Salah is the best option in terms of points this week, but you run the risk of him being out of the team. Its an all or nothing play with Loftus-Cheek coming in and replacing him, with the armband going to Hazard.
So after much deliberation, we have decided to swap out Dele Alli, 5.18 expected points, for Sadio Mane, 5.62 expected points and will captain the Liverpool winger. We have also included Gabriel Jesus (3.35) instead of Ruben Loftus-Cheek (3.72) due to the striker being down as a rotational player for City which brought his point tally down. Were both City strikers not down as rotational they would have 1 point more, perhaps this is too harsh on them to deduct 1 point per week as they both do play most game weeks, just aren’t guaranteed starts.
This week the points expectancy is 52.43.
