Gameweek 33 – The Bookies Captain

There’s not many gameweeks left between now and the end of the season and those important FPL points can be won and lost very easily between now and then. After the shambles of a DGW we have a number of teams on blank game weeks. As if things were already difficult enough 😐

Needless to say, I think it’s important to have players that have something to play for. Be it a title, top 4 or even surviving the relegation drop. Having said that you lot shouldn’t be too surprised to see the selections for this week.

Eden Hazard – Chelsea – Exp Points 6.24

Despite only playing 120 minutes of a possible 180. Hazard came out of the Double Gameweek with 15 points to his name. When you seen that he hadn’t been named as starting in the first game you’d have gladly taken 15 points by the end of the week. Chelsea welcome the Hammers to the Bridge for a London Derby. Hazard will be keen to put on a show for any future employers and more importantly get Chelsea into the Champions League places should his wish not be granted.

Salah & Mane – Liverpool – Exp Points 5.9 & 5.59

The Liverpool train keeps on rolling it seems. Things weren’t looking too good at the weekend vs Spurs but Liverpool found a way and got the breakthrough very late in the game. Pool are away to Southampton on Friday night which should be another routine win for the scousers. Salah and Mane should be pivotal in the Liverpool title charge. Both are good captaincy selections and Southampton could come undone.
