Fantasy Football: Clean Sheet Probabilities – Gameweek 25

DO’S

You have to have a City defender in gameweek 25. With a double game week City have 2 40%+ chances of keeping a clean sheet against Arsenal and Everton, while on paper they aren’t great fixtures, 45.6% and 42.4% are too good to pass up. The only players which are feel are nailed on for GW27 are Kyle Walker and Ederson. With City having issues with full backs and Mendy being a crock Danilo will most likely have to play at left back, though Zinchenko could play in one of the fixtures.

Sarri’s Chelsea are at home to a Huddersfield side which are rock bottom in the Premier League. Huddersfield with little to no hope of retaining their Premier League status. With all that being said it is surprising that Chelsea are this week’s most likely clean sheet candidates given they conceded 4 against Bournemouth. Surely the rot will stop against the Terriers, thats gambler’s fallacy though, isn’t it?

DON’TS

Arsenal almost kept a rare clean sheet in gameweek 24 against Cardiff but once shown again how poor they are at the back conceding in the 93rd minute. In gameweek 25 they face a meaner task in a misfiring Manchester City who’ll be looking for revenge after a loss to Newcastle. They have only a 8.16% chance of a cleanie against bald Fraud’s men.

Huddersfield recently signed Karlan Grant from League One side Charlton. While his form in the football league was impressive, that is not the standard they should be aiming for if they are to stay up. They have a 9.36% chance of a clean sheet.
