The next gameweek is in 2 days, don’t expect much from us in terms of content, but we’re still going to be providing you with the odds and the probabilities.
This week Chelsea sit top of the expectancy with a home fixture against Southampton. Spurs are also likely against Cardiff, but conceded 3 against fellow newcomers Wolves at home. They don’t look as solid as they have in the past, but Cardiff are a different beast to Wolves. A bluebird is far less threatening than a wolf is, that is for sure. With City and Liverpool facing off, bookies don’t expect a repeat of the 0-0 which happened earlier in the season. Given City’s aptitude for scoring and their ineptitude in keeping a clean sheet goals are a certainty. I would avoid defensive assets this week, which normally means Ederson will keep a clean sheet.
Outside of the big 6, Wolves are likely to keep a clean sheet against Palace, with Spurs only getting an xG of 0.3 against them in GW20 their resolve was barely tested. Against Palace they could be expected to keep a clean sheet. Burnley kept a rare clean sheet with Tom Heaton coming back into the side, could his return co-incide with a good run of form for the Clarets? The bookies don’t believe so, but I think he could.
