Clean sheets were few and far between in Gameweek 12. Leicester and Burnley played out a 0-0 in the 3 o clock games. Spurs kept a clean sheet against Crystal Palace. Foyth was the difference scoring the only goal of the game bagging himself 3 bonus points and a clean sheet.
An expected clean sheet for happened for Liverpool against Fulham. Alexander Arnold and Robertson got themselves an assist each but it was Robertson who picked up the 3 bonus points whilst Alexander Arnold got 2. A surprise clean sheet for Everton away to Chelsea as it finished 0-0.
Jordan Pickford made an excellent save to stop Marcos Alonso. Alonso also hit the post. Despite a clean sheet away from home, it was David Luiz who picked up 3 bonus points. Alonso got himself 2.
In what can only be described as a bit of a surprise. This week the team at the top of the table is WOLVES. That’s right, Wolves. Wolves face Huddersfield at home and now is the time for Bennett, Doherty and Vinagre to deliver the clean sheet. Wolves have a 58.98% chance of a clean sheet. That’ll probably be the highest chance they’ll have all season!
Can’t believe I’m typing this but Everton have a great chance of a clean sheet at home against Cardiff. Digne is looking like an FPL option if Everton can continue to keep clean sheets. He appears to be on corners and some set pieces. Goals have been few and far between for Cardiff this season giving Everton a 49.95% chance of a clean sheet
It’s a London Derby this weekend as Spurs face Chelsea and both defences are probably ones to avoid. In a H2H the last 5 games 4 of those had both teams to score. Spurs beating Chelsea 2-0 at home in 2017 the only clean sheet. Chelsea are unbeaten so far this season whilst Spurs talisman Harry Kane hasn’t had his shooting boots on. Trippier likely injured for this game will be a big loss for Spurs. Chelsea are slightly more likely to keep a clean sheet with a 26.99% chance, whilst Spurs have a 25.84% chance.
West Ham may be at home this game week, but they’re up against Manchester City which means they probably won’t keep a clean sheet. Bookies have given West Ham an 8.40% chance of keeping a clean sheet. Aguero hasn’t been in goal-scoring form away from home this season. West Ham will be hoping that form continues into this gameweek
